Campa Samhraidh sa scoil / Summer Camp in our school
Cuireann sé áthas mór orainn bheith in ann a rá go mbeidh campa samhraidh saor in aisce curtha ar siúil ón 2 Iúil – 6 Iúil 2018 do dhaltaí Rang a ceathair go Rang a sé i nGaelscoil Uí Earcáin. Is campa samhraidh urraithe ag an Roinn Oideachais atá i gceist ina ndíreofar isteach ar an nGaeilge i mbealaí suimiúla, spreagúla. De brí go mbeidh an campa seo ag díriú ar Ghaeilge beidh rialacha scoile agus polasaithe scoile i bhfeidhm, mar a bhíonn i rith na scoil bliana. Cuirfidh an campa Gaeilge seo deiseanna ar leith ar fáil do pháistí chun an Ghaeilge a shealbhú go nádúrtha chomh maith le scileanna teanga a fhorbairt agus a chleachtadh le greann agus le spleodar i suíomh atá tarraingteach agus slán. Ní mórán scoileanna in Éirinn a fhaigheann an deis campa samhraidh mar seo a chur ar fáil agus cuirimid fáilte mhór roimh dhaltaí ó Rang 4 go Rang 6 cur isteach ar áit ar an gcampa. De brí nach bhfuil ach líon áirithe áiteanna ar fáil ar an gcampa ní mhór an t-iarratas a seoladh ar ais chun na scoile chomh luath agus is féidir. Beidh spórt, ealaín, rince, ceol, drámaíocht, cluichí matamaitice agus teanga agus treodóireacht
mar chuid de na gníomhaíochtaí a bheidh ar siúil sa champa. Beidh an campa samhraidh ar siúl gach lá ón 2 Iúil - 6 Iúil ó 9:30 r.n. go dtí 2:00 i.n, beidh lón folláin ar fáil do na daltaí gach lá. Is iad na múinteoirí Kate, Dara agus Kelsey a bheidh ag reáchtáil an champa i halla na scoile i nGaelscoil Uí Earcáin. Má tá breis eolais uaibh is féidir libh dul i dteagmháil linn ar scoil.
We are delighted to announce that a summer camp will take place in Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin from 2nd July to 6th July inclusive for pupils from 4th to 6th Class. The camp is sponsored by the Department of Education and aimed to provide pupils with enjoyable, interesting opportunities to learn Irish. As Irish will be at the forefront of the camp, the school’s rules and policies regarding the Irish language as well as other school policies will be in place during the camp. The camp will provide opportunities for your child to improve and build upon their Irish as well as to develop language skills in a safe enjoyable environment. Few schools in Ireland are awarded the opportunity to host these summer camps and we extend a huge welcome to all from fourth class to sixth class to apply for a place on the camp. There are a limited number of spaces available and therefore it is advisable to apply in time to avoid disappointment.
Sport, art, dance, music, drama, maths and language games and outdoor and adventure tasks will be among the activities taking place during the camp. The camp will take place every day from 2nd July to 6th July from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm, a healthy lunch will be provided for all pupils. Teachers; Kate, Dara and Kelsey will be facilitating the summer camps in school hall in Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin. If require further information, please do not hesitate to contact at the school.
