We are delighted to announce that a summer camp will take place in Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin from 30th June to 4th July inclusive for pupils from 3rd to 6th Class. The camp is sponsored by the Department of Education and aimed to provide pupils with enjoyable, interesting opportunities to learn Irish. As Irish will be at the forefront of the camp, the school’s rules and policies regarding the Irish language as well as other school policies will be in place during the camp. The camp will provide opportunities for your child to improve and build upon their Irish as well as to develop language skills in a safe enjoyable environment. Few schools in Ireland are awarded the opportunity to host these summer camps and we extend a huge welcome to all from third class to sixth class to apply for a place on the camp. There are a limited number of spaces available and therefore it is advisable to apply in time to avoid disappoint.sport, art, dance, music, drama, maths and language games and outdoor and adventure tasks will be among the activities taking place during the camp. The camp will take place every day from 30th June to 4th July from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm, a healthy lunch will be provided for all pupils. Teachers Richard, Mairéad Bríd and Eoin will be facilitating the summer camps in school hall in Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin. If require further information, please do not hesitate to contact at the school.
