Sixth class will be going to Collins Barracks this Friday (04/04/14) as part of the work that we are doing on the 1916 Easter Rising and the period from 1913-1949 in Irish history. They are really enjoying learning about our history and we are all really looking forward to this trip. The plan for the day is set out below.

Beidh €0.90 an treo ag teastáil ó na páistí don bhus. Sin €1.80 ar an iomlán don turas isteach agus amach ar an bhus. Má bhíonn an sóinseáil ceart acu bheadh sin na chuidiú mór. Beidh siopa beag i nDún Uí Choileáin agus is féidir leo cuimhneachán beag a cheannach ansin más mian leo. Is rogha pearsanta é seo agus níl aon bhrú airgead a chuir leo de seo.
The children will need €0.90 each way for the bus. That's €1.80 in total for the trip into and out of town. If they could have the correct change that would be a great help.There is a shop in Collins Barracks and they can buy a little souvenir if they like. This is a personal choice to be made by each child and there is no pressure to send money with them for this.
